Restore your purchase

Use the Apple or Google account used for the purchase. Open the unlock screen and choose Restore Purchases. Restoring an unlock does not restore invoice records or transfer a purchase between stores.

On iOS, sign into the same iCloud account and allow sync to finish. Check the backup screen and confirm that clients, hours, invoices and archived documents have returned. An empty or incomplete import is not a verified restore.

On Android, keep an exported backup outside the device. Counthall verifies an export by reading it back and comparing its contents. Use that backup to restore your records; purchase restoration is a separate action.

A format check or recipient reported an error

Include the exported format and rule identifier, for example BR-DE-15. Counthall checks supported fields and totals, but a recipient may impose further requirements. We can investigate a reproducible export or validation problem.

Which format does my customer need?

Ask the recipient for the format and submission route. Counthall exports ZUGFeRD / Factur-X, XRechnung in UBL or CII, Peppol BIS Billing 3.0. NLCIUS is exported too: enter the Dutch client's KvK or OIN number and buyer reference with the client. Save the choice per client. Peppol network delivery uses your own provider.

Read a received invoice

Open a supported XML file or hybrid PDF from the received-invoice reader. It shows the sender, totals, VAT treatment and due date. A changed IBAN warning is a prompt to verify bank details separately, not proof of fraud.

VAT settings and retention

Choose the VAT scheme appropriate to your transaction. The archive stores document files with retention dates and an integrity check. These tools do not determine your tax obligations or guarantee legal retention. Keep independent backups.
